Valentine's day is approaching soon, and I'm excited to share some recipes for one of my favorite holidays! Although I plan on making my fair share of "sweet treats," I wanted to start off with a recipe that's red and romantic, but also healthy, too! Even though I plan on showering my family with chocolates, I think these easy strawberry banana smoothies with Greek yogurt and honey will hit a sweet spot. Here's the recipe for these strawberry banana smoothies:
2 cartons strawberry banana Greek yogurt; 3/4 cup 2% milk; 1 tablespoon honey; 1 cup frozen strawberry slices; 2 bananas (sliced.)
Prepare smoothies using a smoothie maker or high powered blender. Place the milk at the bottom of blender. Add the strawberry banana Greek yogurt. and honey. Place the frozen fruit on top. Blend for one minute. Stir. Blend for an additional minute, or until smooth. Garnish with strawberries, if desired. Serves 2.
