It's so nice to have an early spring in Michigan this year.  Despite the groundhog seeing its shadow, we've had some unusually warm weather this year.  Now, the downside to the nice weather is I develop a "spring cleaning bug."  When Elevate Essentials asked me to try out their Pumice Souring stick, I figured this was the time to tackle my biggest cleaning project of the year-my oven!  It's gotten so much use lately with my blog, family dinners, and reviewing recipes for Taste of Home.  I was a little skeptical that a scouring stick could get rid of the rings of grease around the burners.  I've tried various sponges and heavy duty cleaners that couldn't tackle the rings.  So I decided to give these a try.  And boy, am I glad I did!  All I had to do was simply wet the sticks, and lightly brush them on the grease spots.  Instantly, they started to disappear.  My 15 year old oven looks brand new!

Now, one downside to this product is the scarping sound is a little unpleasant.  But, although a little uneasy on the ears, it's totally worth the amazing results!  It also says on the label it may scratch some surfaces.  So far, I've used in on my stove top, and porcelain kitchen and bathroom sinks, and have no problem what-so-ever with scratches.  I have very hard water, and this pumice scouring stick has effectively removed rust and lime residues that I deemed hopeless.  I highly recommend this product for spring kitchen and bathroom cleaning.  Click here for more info on these Pumice Scouring Sticks by Elevate Essentials.  Now, back to baking and making more messes in the kitchen! :)
