The Wizard of Oz is one of my all-time favorite movies. Although it's not technically considered a horror movie, the Wicked Witch of the West still sends chills down my spine. I grew up in the generation of Freddy Kruger, Jason, and Chucky flicks, so I'm no stranger to scary movies. But the antics of these creepy characters don't hold a candle to the "I'll get you my pretty!" threat of the wicked witch. Whether she's writing "surrender Dorothy" with her broomstick or screaming "I'm melting, I'm melting," she's the ultimate wicked villain of the big screen I created these melted witch cupcakes so my kids can share in the wicked fun this iconic character has created throughout the years. I'll never forget dressing as the Wicked Witch of the West at my first Halloween party or dressing my daughter as Dorothy on her first Halloween. She may be wicked, but when the wicked witch melts on the screen, my heart melts a little, too!
