One of the greatest joys in my life are my two fur babies-Lego and Kallie. My pups are very loved and are treated as members of our family. In fact, I often think they are human with how much they love lounging on the couch (sometimes switching the channel of the t.v. by placing their paws on the remote!) and going for car rides (frequently wanting to sit on my lap and hogging the front seat!) Michelle Lander Feinberg's Please Don't Tell Cooper He's a Dog is so heart warming and true to life. It's the story of Cooper, a recuse dog, who is welcomed into his family and treated like royalty. He is trained and tamed, and everything is going well until Cooper begins to act wild! He ditches his dog days for a more sophisticated style. He refuses to eat his dog food unless it's topped with steak sauce. He partakes in yoga with the family and dreams of the ballet while at the dog park. He isn't offended by being called a dog-it simply isn't Cooper's style!
Please Don't Tell Cooper He's a Dog is a humorous and endearing book to read to your kids at night (and your pups, too!) My dogs love curling up next to me on the couch while I read to them. It's an entertaining story for kids and it teaches them about animal adoption. If you're looking for a gift for kids, teachers, pet owners, or book lovers, this is the perfect book! The Illustrations by Anna Mosca are so detailed and colorful. Kids and adults alike will appreciate the creativity and artistry of this book. You can find Please Don't Tell Cooper He's a Dog in major bookstores. Or order your copy here. |
