Ghostly GIVEAWAY from Golden Gift Box

Our kids love to "boo" the neighbors by ringing their door bell and leaving a haunted treat on their doorstep.  When the neighbor's come to the door, we quickly run away before we're caught! Get into the "boo" spirit with a Halloween headband. You can wear your Halloween costumes, too, but remember you don't want to be seen!  Try to boo in the evening when there's a good chance your neighbor's are in for the night.  If you're "booing" with little kids, make sure it isn't too dark.  You don't want them to get too excited and stumble on the front porch.  Ring the doorbell and get your treat box ready!  

Place the Golden Gift box in front of the door, so it's sure to be noticed right away.  Make sure you keep your voices low and noise to a minimum.  Let little kids know this is the opposite of Halloween-you are giving a treat and not taking one!  If they do a good job with the "boo" maybe give them a small surprise of their own at home.  

Before making your getaway, make sure to leave a printed "We've been Booed" sign with your surprise box.  Or you can tape it to the door for your neighbor's.  You can find a free printable ghost sheet on various educational sites, such as PBS Kids or craft sites such as firstpalette.  Just make sure it's copyright free!
