It's easier to wake up some mornings than others-especially ones when it's 5:30 on a school day! I'm so thankful to team up with Wave Coffee this month to promote their coffee subscription service. Wave makes it easy to get out of bed and wave "hello" to a new day.
Wave coffee can be ordered as often as every two weeks or you can space out your deliveries. Right now they offer a chocolate smooth talk and fruity sweet daze variety. Both are free from additives, so the taste is very natural. I ordered the whole bean variety, which gives a rich and coffee taste. I don't own a coffee grinder, but I've found a food processor works great for grinding the beans. Because the holidays are around the corner, I added a few spices to their chocolate coffee , as well as a pinch of brown sugar, and a swirl of whipped cream on top. This Chocolate Gingerbread Coffee taste like Christmas in a coffee cup. Okay, so I'm a little early for the holidays. We haven't officially made it past Halloween yet. But this Chocolate Gingerbread Wave Coffee is giving me some serious motivation to get moving before the festivities begin. Here's the recipe for this Chocolate Gingerbread Coffee with Wave Smooth Talk Coffee: Ingredients: 6 tablespoons ground wave Chocolate coffee; 8 ounces of water; 2 tsp. cinnamon; 1/4 tsp. cloves; 1 tsp. ginger; 1 tablespoon maple syrup; 1 tablespoon brown sugar; whipped topping for garnish; gingerbread cookies to serve alongside the coffee (optional). Directions: Prepare Wave Coffee using coffee maker or French press. Add the spices, maples syrup, and brown sugar. When coffee is slightly cooled, swirl the whipped topping on top of coffee. Serve with gingerbread cookies and/or sprinkles gingerbread man cookies on top of coffee. |
