Summer is my favorite time of year.  I love sitting on my porch swing with my kids while the dogs chase each other around the yard.  I especially love lazy Sunday evenings, when my husband and I sit and read the paper and put our feet up for a few minutes.  This past Sunday evening after supper, I tried out this Shikshook cocktail maker I received in exchange for an unbiased review.  I've been waiting for a "special moment" to use this item and decided tonight was the night!  The evening's sunset was a bright orange, so I decided to make a peach bellini to match the colors of the sky.  I placed four large peaches in the blender, added 1 cup of orange juice, and a half bottle of champagne.  I poured some of the mixture into the shaker along with some crushed ice.  The shaker worked wonderfully.  It has a nice pouring spout with an even flow.  The mesh strainer helped to keep the pulp in the shaker and out of our glasses.  The drinks tasted delicious!  Cheers to summer and this amazing cocktail shaker!
