We got another puppy recently, so we've been spending a lot of time on our patio. This chocolate Nutella Toffee Bundt Cake is the perfect treat to enjoy while the dogs and kids play outside. Just like our lovable furry new friend, this is the dessert that keeps on giving! It starts with a moist fudge cake this is smothered in a rich chocolate ganache. But the fun doesn't stop there! It's covered in rich cocoa flavored Nutella and topped with Heath Bar bits. Wow! Personally, I could have stopped at fudge cake and been perfectly satisfied, but the toppings make it even more rich and decadent. I'll have to keep the doggies away from this one....and maybe everyone else, too! Ingredients Cake: 1 box (may need 1 and 1/2 if using a large Bundt pan) Betty Crocker fudge cake plus 1/3 cup oil and 3 eggs; 1 jar Nutella; (I used cocoa flavored but any brand will do!) one small bag miniature Heath bars; 1 cup heavy whipping cream; 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees; prepare cake mix according to directions on back for Bundt cake, two rounds, or whichever size you desire; mix in 1/4 cup Nutella and gently swirl; fold in 1/4 cup crushed Heath bar bits; after baking allow cake to cool before removing from pan onto a serving plate; prepare ganache-heat whipping cream in a heavy saucepan on medium heat and remove as soon as it comes to a boil; pour over chocolate chips and whisk until smooth; pour over cake and allow to harden; place Nutella in a piping bag and pipe over cake; garnish with crushed Heath bar pieces-use as many as you like! I'll have to keep my new pup Lego away from this delicious dessert!
